Pierre Heinrichs
ICT Manager CENELEC

Pierre Heinrichs is Engineer in Electronics (Liege-1983) and Master in Business Administration (Solvay-Bruxelles-1994). He is born in 1961 in Verviers-Belgium.
He started his professional career in Eurosense, a Flemish high-tech company specialized in aerial teledetection as research engineer and project manager. Two years after he joined Hewlett-Packard as Field Engineer. During 17 years in this company he exercised many different responsibilities in the technical support, project management, marketing (including a function with worldwide responsibility), pre-sales and consulting (responsible for many European projects). His last function was e-Government Europe- Solutions Manager.
In May 2003 he joined CENELEC as ICT Manager responsible for the fostering of ICT Standardization in Europe. Among the most important projects in ICT, CENELEC works on Digital TV, TV for All, Smart House...
